New Zealand all rounder Chris Harris is recovering after surgery to repair the shoulder he injured during the second Chappell-Hadlee one-day match against Australia at Sydney last week.
Harris had the rotator cuff in his bowling shoulder re-attached to the bone, the New Zealand Cricket website said.
Harris will miss the Sri Lankan series starting in Auckland with the first of five one-day internationals on December 26 and is likely to have four-five weeks in a sling.
