South Africa all-rounder Andrew Hall has been officially reprimanded for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the third day of the first Test against England.
Hall was found guilty of gesturing towards the pavilion by ICC Match Referee Clive Lloyd in a hearing after play concluded in Port Elizabeth on Sunday.
Hall was found to have breached Level 1.6 of the ICC Code which relates to gesturing towards the pavilion in an aggressive manner upon the dismissal of a batsman.
"Players are not permitted to gesture towards the pavilion in such a manner and although Mr Hall provided an explanation of his actions I found him in breach of the ICC Code," said Lloyd.

All Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official reprimand and a maximum penalty of 50 per cent of a player's match fee.
The charge was brought by the on-field umpires, Darrell Hair and Simon Taufel, and TV umpire Ian Howell.
Lloyd reached his conclusion after a hearing attended by the match officials, Hall and the South Africa team manager. For Level 1 and Level 2 breaches of the ICC Code of Conduct the ICC Match Referee's decision is final and binding.
