The Supreme Court fixed November 30 for hearing the Board of Control for Cricket in India's appeal and said its interim order staying a Madras high court order against the Board's new office-bearers and the stay on the appointment of Jagmohan Dalmiya as patron-in-chief would continue till then.

The date of hearing the BCCI's appeal, challenging the high court order, was fixed by a five-judge bench, headed by Justice N Santosh Hegde, when the matter was mentioned by counsel of the respective parties.

On October 11, the apex court had restored the BCCI's newly-elected office-bearers to their posts while staying the Madras high court order of October 7 appointing Justice S Mohan as the interim administrator of the Board.

The court had also restrained Dalmiya from becoming the patron-in-chief of the Board.

After hearing the Board, the Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA), Netaji Cricket Club and D C Agashe, representing the Maharashtra Cricket Association, the bench fixed October 26 for final hearing of the petitions.

However, as the Constitution bench, headed by Justice Hegde, could not complete the hearing on other matter listed prior to the Board's petition, the hearing was rescheduled.
