Highest seventh-wicket partnership against India

The unbeaten match-winning partnership of 126 runs between Mahela Jayawardene and Upul Chandana at Dambulla on Wednesday is the highest ever partnership for the seventh wicket against India.

The pair obliterated the previous record stand of 114 between South Africa's Mark Boucher and Lance Klusener at Nagpur in 1999-00.
