Bangladesh's left-arm spinner Mohammad Rafique will miss the first three of the five one-day internationals (ODI) against Zimbabwe starting from Thursday through injury.
He has been rested following a left hamstring injury suffered in the second and final Test, which ended in a draw in Dhaka on Tuesday.
Bangladesh named their 14-man squad for the first ODI without opener Javed Omar, who will also rest due to a knee injury. Paceman Talha Jubair has been dropped.
Omar picked up the injury while fielding in the first Test in which Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 226 runs in Chittagong.
Bangladesh won the Test series 1-0.
Batsman Alak Kapali, all rounder and former captain Khaled Mahmud, left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak and medium pacer Nazmul Hossain have been called in for the first day-night one-dayer in Dhaka.
