Four upcoming Pakistani bowlers, including Mohammed Khalil, have started their training with all earnestness under 'pace guru' Dennis Lillee at the MRF Pace Foundation in Chennai.

Besides Khalil, who was part of the Pakistan team that toured India this year, Riaz Afridi, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Irshad, an under-19 international, are the other Pakistani bowlers who went about their training being watched by Lillee at the bowlers end on the first day of the 11-day camp.

Khalil, who trains under Aquib Javed back home, told reporters "I regularly train under Aquib Javed at the Pakistan Cricket Academy and worked on my action with Bob Woolmer. I am here under Lillee on the technical aspect of pace bowling."

Afridi got the Pakistan cap last season while Asif played in his only Test against Australia this January. Irshad is awaiting the country's cap at senior level.

Lillee was seen suggesting the methods of delivery of the ball and emphasised the importance of proper landing of their front foot before delivering the ball.

These four Pakistani bowlers, two from Saudi Arabia and 19 Indian boys attended the camp on Monday. The camp lasts till July 7.
