Paceman Ajit Agarkar, who picked five wickets for 44 runs in India's four-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the fourth one-day international in Pune on Thursday, rated his effort on a higher scale than the 6 for 42 he secured in Australia in the last season.

"I would place this higher than the one against Australia as this was a winning effort," the Mumbai right-arm seamer told reporters after he was named man of the match.

Agarkar said the wicket was quite helpful to the pace bowlers in the first 45 minutes or so, but added that the bowlers still needed to put the ball in the right areas to reap the rewards.

"We picked up early wickets and that helped," he said.

He said bowling yorkers at the death always takes a heavy toll on the bowlers and he was no exception.

He also said that he just concentrated on bowling straight on the Nehru stadium track.

"My action is holding up well as I have worked hard on it. I am getting good swing and reverse swing at the moment."
