India captain Virender Sehwag won the toss and elected to field against Sri Lanka in the sixth one-day international in Rajkot on Wednesday. The hosts have already sealed the series with a 4-1 lead.

Sehwag, leading the side after the team management decided to rest Rahul Dravid, informed that the India would be playing with five bowlers in the match. S Sreesanth, who was reported to sit out for the game, was included in the final twelve.

Irfan Pathan, Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh also come back into the side after being rested for the fifth ODI on Sunday. Mohammed Kaif, who missed the first five matches due to injury, also returns to the team.

Sri Lanka salvaged pride by clinching a close contest in Ahmedabad and are looking to end the series on a winning note. The visitors made only one change from the fifth ODI as Upul Chandana comes in for Muttiah Muralitharan, who is struggling from a hamstring injury.

Sehwag said that the decision to put the opposition into bat was taken because the team was more confident of chasing totals.
