Left-arm paceman Irfan Pathan joined a select list of 10 Indian bowlers who have taken 100 or more wickets in One-Day Internationals.
Pathan reached the milestone on Wednesday, in his 59th match, when he trapped Pakistan opener Imran Farhat leg before during the second and final one-dayer against Pakistan in Abu Dhabi.
Pathan has taken these wickets at an average of 24.56 and an economy rate of 4.92. He has one five-wicket haul and best figures of 5 for 27, against Zimbabwe in 2005.
The match also saw Rahul Dravid fall in the nervous nineties for the third time in his 287-match ODI career. Incidentally, all these dismissals have come against Pakistan.
Dravid was bowled by Saqlain Mushtaq on 90 in 1996 during the second match of the 1996-97 series against Pakistan.
The Indian skipper also had the heartbreak of losing his wicket when just one short of a century, being clean bowled by Pakistani pace express Shoaib Akhtar for 99 in the 2004-05 series.
