England captain Andrew Flintoff dismissed Justin Langer for four as Australia reached 28-1 at the close on the second day of the second Ashes Test on Saturday.

*England declared their first innings on 551-6.

*Paul Collingwood made 206 and Kevin Pietersen 158, the pair sharing a record fourth-wicket partnership of 310 to put England in command.

*England resume on 266-3.

*Collingwood clips his second ball of the morning from Brett Lee for three to reach his hundred.

*Pietersen hits three fours in Glenn McGrath's first over to bring up the 300.

*Collingwood lifts Warne over long-off for his 13th four to reach 150.

*Collingwood lifts Michael Clarke over long-on for his 16th four to reach 200.

*Collingwood edges Clark to wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist to give the seamer his third wicket.

*Pietersen tries a quick single and is brilliantly run out by a direct hit from Australia captain Ricky Ponting running in from mid-on.

*Geraint Jones aims a big drive at Warne and edges the ball straight to Damien Martyn at cover to give the leg spinner his first wicket.

*Flintoff heaves McGrath for six.

*Flintoff clips a boundary through midwicket to lift England past 550 and immediately declares.

*Flintoff digs a short one in at Langer, on four, and the ball hits the top of the bat and loops to Pietersen.

*Matthew Hayden was unbeaten on 12 at the close with Ponting on 11.
