Pakistan's record breaking batsman, Mohammad Yousuf is doubtful for Thursday's second one-day international against the West Indies because his wife is ill in Lahore.

Schedule: West Indies in Pakistan

"I don't think he will be able to play as he has not joined the team as yet," Pakistan manager Talat Ali told Reuters on Wednesday.

"His wife is expecting and is very ill and he wants to be with her," Ali said.

He added that Yasir Hameed was a possible replacement if Yousuf did not join the team in time.

Yousuf broke the record for most runs scored in a calendar year during the 2-0 Test series win over the West Indies when he hit two centuries in the final Test in Karachi.

Yousuf has scored 1,788 runs and a record nine hundreds this year. He finished the Test series with 665 runs and four centuries.
