Mahendra Singh Dhoni's batting exploits in Pakistan vaulted him to third place in the latest ICC one-day batting rankings.
The wicketkeeper-batsman, who scored 219 runs in the five-match one-day series, jumped six places to a career-best third, behind the Australian duo of Adam Gilchrist and Ricky Ponting.
Yuvraj Singh, the top scorer in the one-day series, also took a big leap in the rankings. The left-hander moved to ninth, a rung above his captain, Rahul Dravid.

Yuvraj was declared the man of the Pakistan series after emerging the top scorer with 344 runs in five matches.
Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar slipped seven places to 17th.
Irfan Pathan is the only Indian bowler in the top 10 bowlers' list.
Pathan, with a haul of nine wickets in four matches against Pakistan, is fourth in the bowlers' rankings. He also improved his position on the all-rounders' rankings to fourth.
