The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced on Wednesday it had finalised a Test and one-day tour of South Africa for November and December this year

"The tour comprises five one-dayers, three Tests and a four-day practice match," board secretary Niranjan Shah told reporters. "The dates will be confirmed later."

Shah said India had also confirmed participation in a tri-series with Sri Lanka and South Africa in Sri Lanka in August and September.

Shah and former president Inderjit Singh Bindra leave for the United States on Thursday for talks with the American Cricket Association and the West Indies Cricket Board on a programme of three or five one-day matches between India and West Indies in North America in August and September.

"We are to discuss when and where to play those matches," Shah said.
