Captain Rahul Dravid will join a select band of Indian cricketers when he takes field in the third Test against England at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on March 18, as it would be his 100th Test match.

Dravid would become just the sixth Indian to have completed 100 Test matches for the country. The others who have played 100 or more Tests for India are Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar and Anil Kumble.

The Cricket Club of India (CCI), along with the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), will present Dravid a commemorative plate before the start of the first day's play.

Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sharad Pawar will present the plate to Dravid, according to Raj Singh Dungarpur.

The third Test will also see another record falling to the name of the little master Sachin Tendulkar when he would overtake Kapil Dev's record of 131 Test caps for India by featuring in his 132nd Test and that too on his home ground.
