Pakistan cricket captain Inzamam-ul Haq became the most-capped player in one-day internationals history when he took the field against England in the third ODI at Rose Bowl.

Inzamam surpassed Sri Lankan veteran all-rounder Sanath Jayasuriya's record of 364 one-dayers. He has amassed 11,500 runs and is the second highest run-getter in ODIs behind Sachin Tendulkar (14,148), and just ahead of Jayasuriya (11,104).

Inzamam may be able to keep the record for two more matches that Pakistan plays against England in the current series, as Tendulkar, who has represented India in 363 matches, can claim the record at the tri-series in Kuala Lumpur later this month.

Inzamam has an impressive Test record also, having scored 8,498 runs in 113 matches at an average of 50.88.
