India skipper Rahul Dravid says it feels nice to be nominated for the ICC awards, but it is not something he is focusing on.

"I guess it's nice to be nominated (for the ICC awards)", Dravid said, when asked for his reaction on being nominated in four categories, including the prestigious Sir Garfield Sobers Award for the ICC Cricketer of the Year.

"In the end, it's probably a reflection of the performances of the year's. Yes, there are some great players in the list and nominations... people have really performed well in the current year. Being amongst them is a nice feeling," he told reporters in Bangalore.

But 'The Wall' said that he is not too excited about it.

"I don't really focus on it. Being nominated or not nominated for awards is not what really excites me or motivates me."

Asked if he was surprised that India wicket-keeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was not nominated for any of the ICC awards, he said he was not sure about the criteria for the nominations.

"It's a question one should ask Dhoni whether it really matters to him," he added.

Dravid's consistent performance over the last one year yesterday earned him as many as four nominations – Test player of the year, ODI player of the year, captain of the year and the cricketer of the year award.

Meanwhile, Dravid said India would be looking to avenge its one-day series loss to the West Indies when the two teams meet in the upcoming cricket tri-series in Malaysia.

"We haven't done well against the West Indies in the last series. This is a good chance for us to correct that", Dravid said about the tri-series, also involving Australia.

"I think we are confident. I believe if we play some good cricket, we can get some good results."

Dravid said the event, beginning on September 12, is going to be a challenging series.

"Australia is obviously the best team in the world and it's exciting for us to play against them there. They (Australia) have a very good, proven track record and then they play some very good cricket," he said.

"Even though we are playing against two good teams (Australia and the West Indies), I think if we play good cricket, then we can get some good results."

He said the rolling camp had gone well and the boys are looking forward to play some hard cricket after the washed out tri-series in Sri Lanka.

Dravid said the two practice games slated at Chennai tomorrow and the day-after were aimed at giving the players match-practice and fine-tuning their rhythm, as the team does not expect any warm-up games before the event in Malaysia.
