Australian captain Ricky Ponting won the toss and elected to bat against the West Indies in the final of the DLF Cup one-day international tri-series in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
Michael Clarke, Shane Watson and Nathan Bracken returned to the Australian side which defeated India in the last league match on Friday to reach the final.
Making way for the trio were Matthew Hayden, Brad Hogg and Stuart Clark.
West Indies brought back fast bowlers Jerome Taylor and Fidel Edwards in place of Marlon Samuels and Corey Collymore.
