Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, who were rested for last month's One-Day International Series in Bangladesh, were included in India's 15-man squad, to be led by Rahul Dravid, for the upcoming matches in Ireland and Scotland.

Tendulkar was also retained vice-captain of the 16-member Test squad that will tour England later.

As expected, out-of-form dashing batsman Virender Sehwag was omitted from the ODI and Test teams.

Also left out of both teams, announced in Delhi on Tuesday, was off-spinner Harbhajan Singh.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was named vice-captain of the ODI team for the Ireland and Scotland matches.

The team for the seven ODIs against England will be named later.

Ajit Agarkar got a recall to the ODI team, replacing the injured Munaf Patel.

"Munaf is not 100 per cent fit and that's why he missed out," chairman of selectors Dilip Vengsarkar said.

He hastened to add that Zaheer Khan is back to full fitness and that's why he is in both the Test and ODI team.

Mumbai batsman Rohit Sharma is the lone new face in the ODI squad, while Bengal pacer Ranadeb Bose replaces V R V Singh in the Test team.

The teams:

Ireland and Scotland ODIs: Rahul Dravid (captain), M S Dhoni (vice-Captain), Gautam Gambhir, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, Dinesh Karthik, Zaheer Khan, S Sreesanth, Rudra Pratap Singh, Ajit Agarkar, Piyush Chawla, Ramesh Powar, Robin Uthappa and Rohit Sharma.
