# During the course of his innings of 71, Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the leading run-getter this year - 954 at an average of 68.14 in 23 ODIs, including one century and seven fifties, eclipsing Gautam Gambhir's tally of 933 at an average of 49.10 in 22 games.
