Controversial umpire Steve Bucknor [ Images ], who was kept out of international matches after a string of poor decisions in the infamous Sydney [ Images ] Test, returns to officiate in the upcoming Australia-New Zealand Test series, starting November 20.

The West Indies [ Images ] umpire, who was withdrawn from the India-Australia series earlier this year after his controversial decisions were slammed by the Indians, will stand in the two-Test series alongside compatriot Billy Doctrove [ Images ].

"Australia [ Images ] plays two home Tests against New Zealand [ Images ], the first in Brisbane [ Images ].

The series will be refereed by Chris Broad of the Emirates Elite Panel, the ICC [ Images ] said in a statement.
