Mendis becomes the fastest to take 50 wickets in ODIs

Sri Lanka's [ Images ] Ajantha Mendis [ Images ] on Monday became the fastest to race to the 50-wicket mark in ODIs when he had Zimbabwe's Ray Price stumped by Kumar Sangakkara [ Images ].

Mendis was playing his 19th match, which takes him ahead of India's [ Images ] Ajit Agarkar [ Images ], who reached the landmark in his 23rd match.
