If you are wondering whether Juhi Chawla has given up her working girl days to take care of her baby girl, think again.

The actress who admits she went out of her mind when she was on three-month-long maternity leave, is now thirsting for action.

She has just signed two big films. "One is with Harry Baweja and the second with Pritish Nandy Communications,” admits Chawla’s secretary K S Sanjay. "And these are just a few films from the lot that she is currently contemplating," he stresses.

He however does not confirm two projects which the actress was approached for -- Esmayeel Shroff’s and Tanuja Chandra’s next.

The cautious and superstitious Sanjay replies, "Let her sign deals I will confirm the other films. There are many a slip between the cup and the lip."

Juhi Chawla was supposed to do the role which eventually went to Rinke Khanna in the recently released Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai. She bowed out because she got pregnant.

Her first sisterly role, after playing main lead for years, didn’t quite take off. Her chance to play Didi came with Suneel Darshan's Ek Rishtaa - The Bond Of Love. Juhi played Akshay Kumar’s sister in the film. Juhi was pregnant during the making of his film, and it showed.

When the leading lady saw the trial of Ek Rishtaa -- The Bond Of Love, she immediately enlisted the services of a personal trainer and decided to get in shape for her future roles.

This was an indication for all those who thought that Juhi had given up the greasepaint for good.

The rumours had started when Kareena Kapoor was signed opposite Shah Rukh Khan for Dreamz Unlimited, their production company’s Asoka The Great. But fact is that Juhi was very much involved in getting Karisma’s sibling for her film.

Juhi realised after Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani that she needed to move on to meaningful (read meaty, mature) roles. But for now, the Scorpio woman is very much involved in Asoka The Great behind the scenes.

She also plans to resume attending the Dreams Unlimited office and it will be (show) business as usual.
