Srikrishna report may be tabled on April 20Maharashtra Chief Minister Manohar Joshi on Wednesday reiterated that the Srikrishna Commission report, which probed Bombay's communal riots of 1992-93, would be tabled in the legislature assembly on April 20, if the committee appointed to study the report's recommendations submits its views on whether to table the report along with the Action Taken Report. Speaking to the media in Mahableshwar, Joshi refuted allegations that the proposed mayor-in-council system was aimed to separate Bombay from the rest of Maharashtra. To another question, he also hinted at a minor reshuffle in the state cabinet. Referring to the controversy surrounding former minister Sashikant Sutar, who criticised his functioning, he said neither he nor Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde had given orders to keep a vigil on the former minister.
