Vajpayee to 'examine in depth' Jaya's demandPrime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee today assured J Jayalalitha, whose All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazagham is the second largest partner in the Bharatiya Janata Party-led coalition government, that he would 'examine in depth' her demand for dropping all tainted ministers in his Cabinet or reinduct her party nominee Sedapatti R Muthiah who had resigned after a special court framed charges against him. An AIADMK media release in Madras said Vajpayee had given this assurance in his reply to her letter to him on Saturday last in which she had made the demand. It said Vajpayee also spoke to Jayalalitha at length over the telephone on Monday morning, and assured her that he would take appropriate action. UNI
