Godse playwright cries for justice, guidance

''There is no justice in this country," lamented playwright Pradip Dalvi of Mi Nathuram Godse Boltoy fame, readying to plead his case before the chief justice of Bombay high court, "I am ashamed of it!"

Dalvi is to try and meet Chief Justice M B Shah at 1100 hours on Tuesday, to seek advice as to what he should do.

If the judge is not available, he will hold a dharna outside the CJ's office till he gets to meet him, the playwright added.

He alleged the state government is overlooking the verdict of the high court.

He said that Tuesday's meeting with the chief justice would be purely to gather an idea of the overall situation.

''The chief justice should consider my visit as a writ and guide me accordingly,'' he said.
