rediff.com: Hijacked ship docks in Bombay

M V Med Star, which was taken control of by a group of stowaways a couple of days back, docked in Bombay Wednesday morning.

The Italian ship, which was on its way to the Kandla port when it was hijacked, was brought into the port by two Coast Guard vessels.

An alert was sounded in the port even though officials have ruled out any explosives on board the ship.

The Iraqi and Iranian stowaways, who have seized the ship, are still on board.
