Two school boys held for stealing Rs 100,000

Two school students were taken into custody in Kolhapur on Tuesday for allegedly stealing Rs 100,000 from a clerk of the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation.

Police said the two, aged 10 and 12 respectively, were found to be spending money lavishly.

On suspicion, the duo was interrogated. Investigation revealed that they stole the money from the clerk when he was carrying the money, which was meant for KMC employees.
