Gawli, four aides, acquitted in Bombay

According to sources, Nant Chandraprabha Gajare had lodged a complaint against Gawli for threatening to kill her on July 23, 1997.

Gajare, a resident of Dagdi Chawl, a stronghold of Gawli, and who is reportedly a cook, had alleged that Gawli, his brother Pradip and two accomplices had forcibly entered her residence and tried to throw her out.

Gajare slapped charges on Gawli and a case of unlawful assembly, wrongful restraint, rioting, armed with deadly weapons, dacoity and threatening to kill was filed against him and three others.
