She had lived the better part of her life under the shadow of the gun. And in an ironic twist of fate the bandit-turned-Samajwadi Party Member of Parliament Phoolan Devi was brutally gunned down outside her residence in New Delhi on July 25. The picture shows her inconsolable husband Umedh Singh (in yellow shirt) with her body at the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.
