Thirteen passengers were killed, and 43 injured -- nine of them seriously -- when a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation bus collided with a truck near Astagaon-phata on Thursday, the police said.
The accident occurred about 8 km from the pilgrim town of Shirdi on the Ahmednagar-Manmad highway
The bus was proceeding to Nandurbar from Pandharpur.
While 22 of the injured have been hospitalised, the remaining were discharged after first-aid, the police said.
