The United Progressive Alliance's Common Minimum Programme will be released on May 27.

This was decided at a meeting of Congress and its coalition partners at Congress president Sonia Gandhi's 10, Janpath residence in New Delhi.

Emerging from the 75-minute meeting, Lok Janshakti Party leader Ram Vilas Paswan said that the allies would again meet on May 26 to give a final shape to the CMP.

Asked about the delay in allocation of portfolios, Paswan said, "It was not held because of me."

There were no hitches in the finalisation of the CMP, Communist Party of India-Marxist politburo member Sitaram Yechuri said.
