Narendra Modi at PBD to promote Gujarat

Narendra Modi, chief minister of Gujarat is in Hyderabad with a large team to woo Non-Resident Indians; his focus is on new investment for his state in infrastructure projects and development of the hi-tech sector.  

Apart from attending the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas event, where he was greeted with enthusiasm by NRIs, Modi is also using his time in Hyderabad to study its progress in the field of Information Technology.

Modi, who was once denied a visa to the United States, will give the NRIs a presentation on opportunities available in Gujarat. Post-lunch on Saturday, in an exclusive function for Non-Resident Gujaratis, he will speak to them about the potential available in a 'vibrant Gujarat'.

According to Hasmukh Adhia, Modi's principal secretary, the chief minister will visit High-Tech City and the Tata Consultancy Services office on Saturday. He will also visit the Centre for Good Governance.

Later on Saturday evening, Modi will address the Gujarati community of Andhra Pradesh at an event that is expected to have an attendance of over 4000.
