April 04, 2009 21:21 IST

379 - India's total was their highest ever at Wellington; surpassing the 356 in 1998-99.

182 - First innings lead taken by India - their second biggest over New Zealand. The biggest lead is the 241-run lead, that India took in the first Test of this series at Hamilton.

12 - Chris Martin's four off Harbhajan was only his 12th four in 68 innings in Test cricket. This one came after 11 innings.

6 - Number of catches held by Dhoni - he is only the second Indian keeper to effect 6 dismissals after Syed Kirmani who took five catches and made one stumping against New Zealand at Christchurch in 1975-76.

3 - Zaheer Khan became first Indian pacer to take three five-fors against New Zealand. He was earlier at level with Javagal Srinath with two such instances.

2 - Dhoni's six dismissals followed his 52 runs with the bat in the first innings. He thus became only the second Indian keeper after Syed Kirmani to perform the all-round feat of scoring a fifty and effecting five dismissals in an innings in the same match. At Faisalabad in 1982-83 against Pakistan, Kirmani made 66 in India's first innings and then held five catches in Pakistan's first innings.
