Shane Warne and controversy are never far apart and the flamboyant Australian spin legend shocked yet again by using a four-letter word while doing commentary during the drawn Ashes Test at Edgbaston.

The spin wizard, who had many a scandals to his name during his playing days, is currently doing commentary for 'Sky Sports'.

According to the 'Daily Mirror', he uttered the word t**t, a derogatory jibe, during the first over of Australian Ben Hilfenhaus' with Andrew Strauss at the batting crease.

Warne joked about why Strauss would not be entitled to a free hit against a bowler who was sending the ball from 10 yards behind the popping crease.

"The ball had to pass the popping crease, the great spin doctor informed us, otherwise Strauss would have been allowed to stroll down the pitch and 't**t it'," the newspaper quoted Warne as saying.
