Squeezing in two Test matches when South Africa visit the country in February-March next year and discussing a possible hike in the selectors' salary, will top the agenda when the BCCI Working Committee meets in Mumbai on Friday.

With India scheduled to play just two Test matches in the next 11 months, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his men's new-found status as the No 1 Test team is at stake and BCCI has requested its South African counterparts to agree on a series which would feature three ODIs and two Test matches, instead of five One-dayers as was originally scheduled.

Already Dhoni and senior batsman Sachin Tendulkar have expressed their wishes to play more Test matches.

Besides, the Working Committee will also take a call on whether to hike the salaries of the national selectors.

"A proposal to increase the salaries of national selectors had been put forth during the BCCI's finance committee meeting on Thursday. A decision on it will be taken by the Working Committee," a BCCI source said.

The national selectors are being paid Rs 25 lakh per annum for their services since last year.
