Following are statistical highlights of the Indian Premier League match between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab in Durban on Tuesday.

# Rajasthan Royals, after eight games, have a minus net run rate (-0.317) but they became the sixth team to post four wins in the second season of the IPL.

# Rajasthan Royals, with two important points, have now nine overall in eight matches in the 2009 edition.

# Yusuf Pathan, with a six off Yusuf Abdulla, has taken his tally to 36 in the IPL, equalling Sanath Jayasuriya's tally.

# Amit Singh (4-0-9-3) recorded a superb bowling performance (economy rate of 2.25) on his Twenty20 debut.

# Graeme Smith (77 off 44 balls) recorded his highest score in the 2009 edition of the IPL, bettering his 44 not out off 46 balls against Delhi Daredevils at Centurion Park on April 28, 2009.

# Smith's brilliant innings is his fourth half-century in the IPL and his second best knock -- his best being 91 off 51 balls against Chennai at Chepauk on May 24, 2008.

# Smith averages 38.86 in the IPL -- 583 runs, including four fifties, at a strike rate of 117.30.

# Smith received his second Man of the Match award in the IPL -- his first award was against Bangalore at Jaipur last year.

# Kings XI Punjab have recorded eight points in eight games and are now sixth in the Points table. They are sixth in the points table behind Chennai, Rajasthan, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

# Rajasthan Royals' 78-run victory is their biggest in terms of runs in the 2009 edition.

# Kings XI Punjab's defeat by 78 runs to Rajasthan Royals is their largest in terms of runs in the IPL.

# Naman Ojha (68 off 51 balls) registered his highest ever score in Twenty20 and also his maiden fifty.

# Rajasthan Royals (211/4) posted the first ever total of 200-plus in the second edition.

# The first ever total of 200 in the 2009 edition is the 12th overall in the IPL.

# The first wicket partnership of 135 between Smith and Ojha is Rajasthan Royals' best in the IPL. The said stand is the second highest in the IPL, next only to the unbroken 155 between Adam Gilchrist and VVS Laxman for Deccan Chargers against Mumbai Indians in Mumbai on April 27, 2008.

# The above opening stand is Rajasthan Royals' highest ever for the first wicket, bettering the 127 between Smith and Swapnil Asnodkar against Chennai Super Kings in Chennai last year.
