India-Pakistan practice match ahead of T20 World Cup

India and Pakistan will reprise the final of the inaugural Twenty20 World Cup in a practice match at The Oval on June 3.

According to details, tickets for the match have already been sold out making it the perfect platform for the launch of the World Cup starting June 5.

A Pakistan Cricket Board official said the ICC had arranged the match as a replay of the final of the first T20 World Cup. The match is a part of the warm up schedule of the participating teams before the tournament.

India beat Pakistan in the last over in a nerve-wrecking final of the World Cup.

Both the teams are once again among the favourites to win the event.
