Bangalore beat Chennai to enter final

Chennai Super Kings opener Parthiv Patel plays gave his team a good start during the Indian Premier League 2nd semi-final match against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Johannesburg on Saturday.

The Chennai wicketkeeper-batsman scored 36 off just 27 deliveries, including 7 fours.

Usually it is the Australian player Matthew Hayden (in the picture) who scores faster amongst the two openers, but tonight it was the young Parthiv who overtook Hayden.

Hayden scored 26 off 19 balls, including 2 fours and a six.
