India will have one more reason to give their best in the fourth one-dayer against Australia at Mohali, as a victory there will dethrone the visitors from the top of Reliance Mobile ICC ODI Championship table.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men have narrowed down the gap with Australia (127 points) at the top of the table to just one ratings point after taking a 2-1 lead in the seven-match series.

India had trailed Australia by four ratings points before the start of the series. An Australian victory will, however, open the gap to three ratings points. South Africa are third with 121 points.

In the ICC rankings for ODI batsmen, India captain Dhoni continues to lead the table while his deputy, Yuvraj Singh, slipped to the third spot and was replaced by Australia vice-captain Mike Hussey, who struck three half centuries in as may matches in the ongoing series.

Hussey had trailed Yuvraj by 12 points before the start of the series but scores of 73, 53 and 81 not out have helped him earn 38 points and is now just eight points away from breaking into the 800-point mark.

Gautam Gambhir climbed two places to 14th but Virender Sehwag has dropped two places to 12th spot.

Sachin Tendulkar, who will complete 20 years in international cricket this month, remains unchanged at ninth spot.

In the ICC rankings for ODI bowlers, led by New Zealander Kyle Mills, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is the only Indian in the top 20 at joint 19th.

Outside the top 20, India fast bowlers Praveen Kumar, Ishant Sharma and Ashish Nehra are heading in the right direction. Kumar moved to 22nd position after rising three places, Sharma has jumped four places to 30th spot and Nehra has shot 22 places to 70th.
