This time we look at IPL3's best batsmen, best bowlers and the most valuable players (all data updated on the morning of April 5).
Best batsmen
The table below shows the 25 best batsmen so far. These are batsmen who have scored the most runs and at the best strike rate.
Jacques Kallis is first because he has scored a lot of runs, although his strike rate is below our average of 133.
Murali Vijay edges past Tendulkar because of his phenomenal strike rate of 175.
Besides Vijay, it is a joy to see to see Naman Ojha, Saurabh Tiwary and Manoj Tiwary also making it to the top 25.
Manoj Tiwary's move from DD to KKR has really helped him.
Notice the large numbers of openers on this list. In fact, there's hardly anyone on this list who bats lower than No 4.

Best bowlers
The next table shows IPL3's best bowlers so far. These are bowlers who have taken the most wickets at the best economy rate.
Amit Mishra has now overtaken Muttiah Muralitharan to top the list.
It is a surprise to see Anil Kumble in sixth place, although he has arguably been IPL3's best bowler.
There's an easy explanation for this: The RCB captain is choosing to bowl to the most lethal batsmen. He keeps them quiet -- only Kumble gives away less than a run a ball -- but can't get too many wickets; especially the easy end-innings wickets.
It is interesting that four of the top six places are bagged by spinners, although Shane Warne is down to No 17.
Finally, it is curious that Andrew Symonds is now looking more like a bowling all-rounder, while Irfan Pathan now looks like a batting all-rounder.

Most valuable players
Finally we look at IPL3's 25 most valuable players. Jacques Kallis has edged out Yusuf Pathan to reclaim the top place but neither has ever been third so far.
Andrew Symonds is having his best IPL, but it's still not enough to pull DC out of their deep hole.
