April 06, 2010 16:04 IST

Deccan Chargers' record of losing matches at home at continues.

The champions went down to Rajasthan Royals by two runs in the Indian Premier League match in Nagpur on Monday. It was Deccan's tenth loss in 12 games at home.

Due to security concerns in Andhra Pradesh, Deccan Chargers' home matches were shifted out of Hyderabad to three venues -- DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai, Cuttack and Nagpur.

Deccan had lost all their home games in the 2008 season, when they finished at the bottom.

But, in the following season when the tournament was shifted to South Africa, the Adam Gilchrist-led side shocked everyone by winning the second edition of the Twenty20 tournament.

Rajasthan, who won the inaugural title in 2008, have the best home record among all teams. They have lost only one match at home out of 11, while Mumbai Indians are second, with nine wins out of 13.
