Statistical highlights on the second day of the second Test between India and South Africa in Durban.

# All ten Indian batsmen were caught in the first innings, providing the second instance for India against South Africa -- the first was at Port Elizabeth in 1992-93 when all 10 batsmen were caught in India's 212.

# Rahul Dravid became the first fielder in Test cricket to hold 200 catches.

# Dale Steyn's catch, taken by Dravid is not only his 200th in Tests but also the 50th off Harbhajan Singh's bowling. David took 55 catches off Anil Kumble's bowling -- the most catches off any Indian bowler.

# South Africa (131) registered their second lowest against India in South Africa -- the lowest is 84 at Johannesburg in December 2006.

# S Sreesanth has registered his eighth duck in Tests -- his fourth against South Africa.

# Zaheer Khan registered his 21st Test duck – his third against South Africa.

# Zaheer has taken 44 wickets at 22.18 runs apiece in only nine Tests -- the highest by an Indian bowler in 2010.

# Mark Boucher became the first South African wicketkeeper to effect five dismissals in an innings against India twice.

# Boucher has registered a world record for effecting five dismissals or more in an innings 13 times. He has bettered Rodney Marsh's tally of five dismissals or more in an innings 12 times.

# Abraham de Villiers's second duck in Tests is his first against India.

# Virender Sehwag's 32 is his best innings at Kingsmead, Durban, bettering the 25 in the first innings of the present Test.

# Sehwag has totalled 1422 (ave. 61.82) in 14 Tests in 2010 -- his second best performance in terms of run-aggregate in a calendar year, next only to the 1462 (ave. 56.23) in 14 Tests in 2008.

# Sehwag is the only Indian player to aggregate 1400 in a calendar year twice.

# Sachin Tendulkar's magnificent run-aggregate of 1562 (ave. 78.10) in 14 Tests in 2010 is the fourth highest in a calendar year - the three highest being 1788 in 2006 by Mohammad Yousuf, 1710 in 1976 by Vivian Richards and 1656 in 2008 by Graeme Smith.

# VVS Laxman took his second team innings' aggregate to 2,999 (ave. 50.83) in 77 innings, including five hundreds and 18 fifties.

# Laxman is averaging 66.61 in 2010 -- 866 in 18 innings, including two centuries and six fifties.

# Dale Steyn's excellent figures of 6 for 50 are his third best in Tests. He had claimed 7 for 51 against India at Nagpur in February 2010 and 6 for 49 against New Zealand at Centurion three years ago.

# Steyn's aforesaid performance is his best at Kingsmead, Durban, bettering the 6 for 72 against the West Indies in January 2008.

# Dale Steyn (6/50) registered his 15th five-wicket haul in Tests -- his third against India.

# Steyn has bagged 46 wickets (ave. 18.60) in nine Tests against India. His wicket-aggregate of 59 wickets (ave. 21.22) in eleven Tests in 2010 is the second best, next only to England's Graeme Swann tally of 62 (ave. 25.85) in 14 Tests.

# Harbhajan has claimed 41 wickets (ave. 40.97) in 12 Tests in 2010 -- the second highest tally for India, next only to Zaheer's 44.

# Harbhajan (4/10) produced his best bowling performance in South Africa, eclipsing the 2 for 79 at Port Elizabeth in November 2001.

# Harbhajan took his wickets' tally against South Africa to 51 (ave. 28.21) in 10 Tests. He is the third Indian bowler to take 50 wickets or more against South Africa, joining Anil Kumble (84 in 21 Tests) and Javagal Srinath (64 in 13).

# Zaheer has registered 21 ducks -- a tally exceeded only by Bhagwat Chandrasekhar (23) for India in Tests.

# Graeme Smith's wicket has been claimed by Zaheer ten times in international cricket - five times in Tests, four times in ODIs and once in Twenty20 International -- the most times by an Indian bowler.
