# India (243) have recorded their lowest total against Bangladesh in Tests, outstripping the 429 in the inaugural Test at Dhaka in November 2000.
# Sachin Tendulkar, with his outstanding unbeaten 105 has posted his fourth century against Bangladesh. The said innings is his 44th Test hundred, extending his world record for most hundreds.
# Sachin has emulated Mahela Jayawardene's record of four hundreds against Bangladesh.
# Sachin is the only player to register 25 centuries away from home. He is the only one to make 7000 runs on foreign soil - 7270 (avg.55.07) in 91 Tests.
# Shahadat Hossain (5 for 71) has produced his best bowling performance against India.
# Zaheer Khan (151) became the third Indian bowler to take 150 wickets or more overseas, joining Anil Kumble (269) and Kapil Dev (215).
# Sachin Tendulkar, with an unbeaten 105 in India's 243, has now top scored on 40 occasions in a completed innings. His tally is an Indian record and only West Indian, Brian Lara (49) has top-scored most times than Sachin.
