His charisma and success on the field seems to have rubbed off on many youngsters in his hometown, as most kids in Jharkhand are picking up the cricket bat and dreaming big.

The Indian Premier League has helped realise the dreams of some of these talented blokes. It has thrown up amazing talents like Mumbai Indians' Saurabh Tiwary, whose gutsy knocks in the last two matches have not only made him a household name, but also helped his team to two excellent victories.

The other youngsters, who've got into the IPL fold are Ishank Jaggi (Royal Challengers, Bangalore), pace bowlers Rahul Shukla (Mumbai Indians) and Varun Aaron (Kolkata Knight Riders). Though they still haven't fired like state-mate Tiwary, a lot can be expected from the trio.

The selection of this talented lot for the IPL augurs well for the future of Jharkhand cricket.
