The Turbanator puts up a tremendous act

A quickfire 18-ball unbeaten 49 from his blade gave the Mumbai Indians' innings teh required fillip.

And his three wickets set them on course for an impressive 41-run win over Deccan Chargers at the DY Patil Stadium in Nerul (Navi Mumbai) on Sunday. 

Harbhajan SinghHarbhajan Singh was palpably rewarded the man-of-the-match for his efforts.

The Turbanator used the long handle to a good effect, striking a few meaty blows, smashing Andrew Symonds and Kemar Roach over the ropes besides helping himself to eight boundaries.

Harbhajan was also involved in the lone significant partnership in the Mumbai innings - a 53-run stand for the eighth wicket with Ryan McClaren (13 not out)

The partnership came off just 20 balls. 

The pair took 19 runs came off the penultimate over (bowled by Roach), with Harbhajan hitting a six and three boundaries.

The final over, started by Jaskaran Singh, was dramatic as he had to be taken off the attack after bowling two beamers at Harbhajan.

The over was completed by Rohit Sharma and Harbhajan smashed him for three successive boundaries to ensure the Mumbai innings ended on a high note.
