Darren Sammy continued his good run in the World T20. He was instrumental in the West Indies' eight-wicket win over England on Monday.

Sammy, who was key to the West Indies' win against Sri Lanka couple of days ago, was the pick of the hosts' bowlers, picking two for 22 in four overs.

He first cleaned up England skipper Paul Collingwood for six, then sent the dangerous Kevin Pietersen back to the pavilion for just 24 runs.

England, batting first amassed 191 for the loss of five wickets, with Eion Morgan and Luke Wright firing them away to a competitive score.

However, rain played spoilsport once again as it held up match for almost an hour.

Chasing 192 to win, West Indies were 30 for no loss in 2.2 overs when heavy downpour started.

When the play resumed after over an hour, the Duckworth–Lewis method was applied and the West Indies were given a revised victory target of 30 in six overs, which the hosts achieved with one ball to go.

Requiring 30 runs from 3.2 overs after resumption, the West Indies lost Gayle and Kieron Pollard also departed without scoring.

However, Shivnaraine Chanderpaul and Andre Fletcher ensured that the hosts made it to the Super Eight stage by winning the match.
