Statistical highlights of the Group A match between New Zealand and Kenya in the cricket World Cup, in Chennai, on Sunday.

# Hamish Bennett (4/16) registered his best bowling figures in ODIs, bettering the 4 for 46 against Pakistan at Auckland on February 5, 2011.

# Bennett became the first New Zealander to take four wickets in an innings against Kenya in ODIs.

# Bennett has received his first Man of the Match award in One-Day Internationals.

# New Zealand's first instance of a 10-wicket win in the World Cup is their fifth in ODIs. They won by such a margin once each against Australia, England, India, Kenya and Bangladesh.

# Jacob Oram is the sixth New Zealand bowler to complete 150 wickets (ave.29.85) in 146 ODIs. His haul includes two instances each of four wickets and five wickets in an innings.

# Daniel Vettori (279) is the leading wicket-taker for New Zealand, followed by Chris Harris (203), Chris Cairns (201), Kyle Mills (186), Richard Hadlee (158) and Jacob Oram (150).

# New Zealand's first ever 10-wicket win in the World Cup is the eighth overall.

# South Africa and the West Indies posted two 10-wicket wins each while Australia, India, Sri Lanka and New Zealand recorded one win each by 10 wickets.

# New Zealand's triumph is the third biggest in terms of balls remaining (252) in the World Cup. England had beaten Canada by 8 wickets with 277 balls to spare at Old Trafford on June 13, 1979, while Sri Lanka had won by 9 wickets with 272 balls to spare against Canada at Paarl on February 19,2003.

# Martin Guptill and Brendon McCullum added 72 in an unbroken stand - New Zealand's highest for the opening wicket against Kenya.

# Jacob Oram (3/2) produced his second best bowling performance, next only to the 4 for 52 against Canada at Benoni on March 3, 2003.

# With this, Oram completed 25 wickets in the World Cup. His wickets' tally of 27 wickets at 20.33 runs apiece in 18 matches is bettered only by Chris Harris (32) and Shane Bond (30) for New Zealand.

# New Zealand, for the first time in the history of the World Cup, dismissed a team for less than 100 and in less than 25 overs.

# Kenya's total is the fifth lowest in the World Cup -- the four lowest totals being - Scotland's 68 against West Indies at Leicester on May 27, 1999, Canada's 36 against Sri Lanka at Paarl on February 19, 2003, Canada's 45 against England at Manchester on June 13, 1979 and Namibia's 45 against Australia at Potchefstroom on February 27, 2003.

# Kenya's 69 is their lowest in ODIs, surpassing the 84 against Australia at Nairobi on September 2, 2002.
