Statistical highlights from the World Cup match between South Africa and Bangladesh played in Mirpur on Saturday.

# South Africa's superb 206-run win is their third largest in terms of runs -- their highest two being the 231-run win at Mohali on March 3, 2011 and 221-run win at Basseterre on March 16, 2007 -- both against Netherlands.

# South Africa's win is their largest by runs margin against Bangladesh in ODIs, eclipsing the 168-run win at Potchefstroom on October 3, 2002.

# The first team to register five wins at the Group stage in the tenth edition of the World Cup is South Africa.

# South Africa have recorded their largest victory in terms of runs against a Test-playing country in the World Cup.

Tsotsobe# Jacques Kallis (69) has recorded his highest innings against Bangladesh in ODIs.

# Kallis' second fifty against Bangladesh is his 82nd in ODIs. He has recorded ten innings of 50-plus at the World Cup -- one century and nine fifties.

# Kallis (1101 at an average of 45.87 in 35 matches) has set a record for the highest run-aggregate for South Africa at the World Cup, overtaking the 1067  by Herschelle Gibbs at an average of 56.15 in 25 matches.

# The 206-run loss is the largest recorded by Bangladesh in terms of runs at the World Cup, eclipsing the 198-run defeat to Sri Lanka at Port of Spain on March 21, 2007.

# The aforesaid defeat is Bangladesh's second biggest in terms of runs in ODIs, next only to the 233-run loss to Pakistan at Dhaka on June 2, 2000

# Bangladesh (78) have recorded their second lowest total at the World Cup -- their lowest being 58 against West Indies at Dhaka on March 4, 2011.

# Of the three totals of less than 100 in the present edition of the World Cup, two have been registered by Bangladesh.

# Ireland, Bangladesh, Namibia and Canada now jointly hold an unwanted record.  All four have been dismissed for less than 100 two times each in the World Cup.

# Robin Peterson (4/12) has recorded his career-best bowling figures in ODIs.

# South Africa (284 for eight) have recorded their highest total against Bangladesh at the World Cup, eclipsing the 184 at Providence on April 7, 2007.

# Amla (51 off 59 balls) has posted his 14th fifty in ODIs.

# On his World Cup debut, Lonwabo Tsotsobe has bowled magnificently to bag three wickets for 14 runs.

# Tsotsobe has received the Man of the Match award three times in ODIs -- one each against Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.

# Robin Peterson has captured 14 wickets at an average of 13.50 in six games -- a record by a spinner in a World Cup competition for South Africa.
