Brad HaddinAustralian vice-captain Brad Haddin has said that he knew he was out and did not need to wait for the replay to determine that he had hit the ball, which brought the end of the first Ashes Test, that went in favour of England.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Haddin said that it had not gone right into plan and he would have liked to see it right through, adding that he thought he did not do his job in the end.

The player scored 71 from 147 balls in a knock that almost delivered victory, along with revealing Australia's plan to exhaust England's best bowler, Jimmy Anderson.
