Mumbai Indians gave a fitting farewell to Sachin Tendulkar's T20 career by notching a comprehensive 33-run victory over Rajasthan Royals in the final of the Champions League Twenty20 on Sunday.

This is the second CLT20 title for Mumbai Indians, the IPL-6 winners, having won the 2011 edition also.

The victory over Rahul Dravid's Rajasthan Royals helped Mumbai Indians become the second team to complete the double, having won the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League in May.

Chennai Super Kings had achieved the feat earlier.

Even as the Sachin Tendulkar walked back into the pavilion in coloured attire for one last time, his teammates and a full house crowd at the Feroze Shah Kotla gave him a standing ovation.

Mumbai Indians lost to Rajasthan Royals in the opening match and their second match was washed out, but they came back strongly and stamped their authority against the Highveld Lions and Perth Scorchers in Group 'A' and then Trinidad and Tobago in the semi-finals.

Chasing a massive 203-run target, Royals folded for 169 even after a fabulous start that saw them scoring 100 runs in nine overs.

Mumbai Indians off-spinner Harbhajan Singh's three-wicket burst in the 17th over turned the final on its head and Royals lost the plot after that.
